It is officially known as the Kingdom of Belgium & its capital is Brussels. Belgium covers an overall area of 30,688 km² and is bordered by the Netherlands to the north, Germany to the east, Luxembourg to the southeast, France to the southwest, and the North Sea to the northwest.
Belgium has a temperate maritime climate influenced by the North Sea and the Atlantic Ocean, with cool summers and moderate winters. Since the country is small there is little variation in climate from region to region. Summers are usually moderate, the temperature ranging between 16 – 25°C. During winters temperature ranges between 0-3°C.
Belgium is famous for Diamonds, Antwerp is also known as the diamond capital of the world. Apart from this Belgium is famous for castles. It has the maximum number of castles in the world. Belgium is also the manufacturing hub of approximately 80% of the world’s Billiard Balls.
